To those faithful readers of Coffee Corner I'd like to thank you for your dedicated readership, as well as scold you for encouraging such hateful drivel. This blog is under construction, which means it hasn't been written yet, but the ideas are brewing, and given some time, I'll scallywagg on, befuddling one cup at a time...

COFFEE CORNER EPISODE 5
(PREAMBLE)
I'm faced with my 24th birthday on Saturday, and in positing the squandered time of my life I stop to settle in a comfy chair, grab a jewel encrusted cauldron of perspective and slather myself in the divulgent decedence of clearance C&Y Whiskey and Egg Nog. And while I peddle my self-conscious wares you can sure as shit be confident that my near quarter century's worth of experience and conclusions were crafted from the finest of ironies and injustices, accidents and ill-intentions, good-intentions and heartbreak, myalgias and headaches. So in this litany of complaining and self-deprecation, I say it is you (sweeps finger across room) that did this to me, and you alone.
COFFEE CORNER EPISODE 5
(INTRODUCTORY HEADER)
The slanderous statements made by the JAVA BOOTH on an unnamed and decidedly not widely-liked blog are in fact not true, and if I may say so; contradictory to good-sense and responsibility. I'm sure The JAVA BOOTH is formulated with the hardest of scrutinies, yet it is littered with typos and misspellings, while the COFFEE CORNER is filled with made-up words, not misspellings. COFFEE CORNER, although painted by many who wished to destroy it in the early-eighties// many who would later move on to revolt against other sordid institutions of greed, many who would form punk bands and rock bands, many who would form the Ramones, many who formed Sonic Youth and Band-Aid, many who were so disgusted with the bloated and wet bag of garbage COFFEE CORNER had allegedly become// painted as a symbol of ignorance and intolerance, this is simply not true, and a blog such as JAVA BOOTH that attempts to skew the image of COFFEE CORNER must face a judge beyond the realm of COFFEE CORNER, a court that is unforgiving and embittered. Shame on you JAVA BOOTH. Shame.
